A Cyprus Escape with Constantinou Bros Hotels

I visited Cyprus in April 2026 with Constantinou Bros Hotels. Cyprus is somewhere I visited as a child, but I only had a vague memory of it. This was a wonderful chance to experience Cyprus again, but from a completely different perspective. I stayed at the Asimina Suites and received the most wonderful hospitality.

I arrived late, at around 10:30pm on Friday, and was welcomed into a beautiful Junior Suite with the Deluxe Package included. This meant I arrived to find a stocked minibar, a complimentary bottle of wine and a platter of fruit and cold meats, as I had missed the evening dining times. The Deluxe Package is certainly worth upgrading to if staying at a Constantinou Bros property.

Saturday started with a wonderful breakfast, which offered a huge selection. The day continued with a full-day excursion to Paphos and the mountain villages. We explored Paphos for a short time due to a busy schedule, but during that time, I explored the old town, which featured artisan shops, colourful street art and local family-run coffee shops. I didn’t get to visit the harbour, but it is filled with tavernas and cocktail bars, offering great places to enjoy fresh seafood and meze platters.

In the mountain villages, we were treated to a wine tasting at a local winery. The wine was delightful, and the views across the vineyards were simply stunning. On the journey back to the Asimina Suites, we stopped to visit Aphrodite Beach – I would say it is a must-see. It is beautiful. Into the evening, I enjoyed a Greco-Roman-themed dinner. The food was delicious and was accompanied by local dancers. It was a truly wonderful evening at the Asimina Suites.

On Sunday, we headed out to visit the other Constantinou Bros properties. We started at the Pioneer Beach, then headed to the Athena Beach and Athena Royal Beach. We enjoyed a gin tasting at the St Andrews Rooftop Bar at the Athena Beach. The rooftop bar is exclusively for adults and is only available to those staying with the Elite Class Package. It is an ideal place to unwind.

Following the gin tasting, we took a leisurely walk back to the Asimina Suites. The walk along the beachfront is spectacular. Before dinner that evening, we enjoyed a saxophonist performance at the rooftop bar of the Asimina Suites – another experience that is certainly worth enjoying. From each of the properties, the sunset is something you are bound to want to capture – it is so beautiful.

It was truly wonderful to visit Paphos, Cyprus. The hospitality at all the Constantinou Bros properties was exceptional, and all the locals were so welcoming. There is so much to see in Paphos, offering a wonderful blend of rich history and beautiful beaches.

Before I went to Romania, I really didn’t know much about it except for the Dracula myth. What I found was a country brimming with incredible natural beauty, fascinating history and picture book towns. Our first day we arrived late into Bucharest. Though we were tired, the transfer to our hotel was quick because the […]
