Tell us about your career at Deva

I started at Deva in 2010, having worked in travel since 2005, so I’ve been here a while! I really enjoy working for an independent agency where we can book anything our customers want, and we have loads of great tour operators to choose from.

What is your favourite travel destination?

There are too many to list!  I particularly love Canada for its diversity – great cities, beautiful national parks, amazing food, wine and wildlife, everything I want in a holiday!  South Africa was an amazing holiday for many of the same reasons, and Iceland stands out too – a completely unique place unlike anywhere else.

Closer to home, I try to get away on a city break as often as I can. You can squeeze a lot into a couple of days! I keep being drawn back to Spain. Barcelona, Malaga, Seville and Granada have all been favourite weekends away.

What are your top bucket list travel destinations?

Central America has been on the list for a very long time, and thanks to Deva Travel and Rainbow Tours I’ll soon be living the dream on a trip to Costa Rica!  I love wildlife and I think this really will be THE place to go. I can’t wait.

Why do you love working for Deva?

We’re a happy team and we have the most lovely customers who we’ve got to know well over the years.  Every day I learn something new, and I love hearing about everyone’s holidays when they come home.
