A Taste of Swedish Lapland with Sunvil

My recent fam trip to Swedish Lapland with Sunvil was nothing short of exceptional.

From the moment we arrived, every property offered something genuinely unique. Brandon Lodge stood out for its wonderfully social atmosphere, instantly creating a welcoming environment. Aurora Safari Camp delivered a thrilling sense of adventure, immersing us in the raw beauty of the wilderness and offering a perspective on the region that felt completely authentic.

One of my personal highlights was taking an ice plunge – the shock of those Arctic waters followed by the warmth of the sauna was unforgettable. Alongside these adventures, the culinary journey was equally remarkable. I sampled moose and reindeer, lingonberries and cloudberries, and even tried herring at breakfast, with each dish offering a new window into local culture and tradition. Dining at the Michelin-starred restaurant at Arctic Bath and Spa was a pinnacle of indulgence, where innovative cuisine met breathtaking design.

The comfort at Arctic Bath itself was outstanding, blending luxury with modernity. Meanwhile, Arctic Retreat offered a deeply homely and heartfelt experience, where every detail reflected passion. It was inspiring to see the strong sense of community among the businesses that make up the Arctic Getaways imprint. The Treehotel, with its imaginative and striking design, was equally special – an experience unlike anywhere else I’ve visited.

Every meal, activity and interaction throughout the trip was both enriching and exciting. From cultural insights to hands-on adventures, the itinerary struck a perfect balance between exploration and comfort.

Overall, this trip was an outstanding showcase of the magic of Swedish Lapland, combining adventure, luxury and authentic local experiences in a way that will stay with me for years to come.

Though we were tired, the transfer to our hotel was quick because the […]
